design and content of school district levy election informational brochure.

freelancer, learned to set & respect schedules & deadlines.
- Skilled with Macintosh & all Windows computer systems including
Vista; able to troubleshoot problems. Expertise with many software packages,
including design and publishing.
- Professional-level use of 35mm, digital, and other still cameras.
Demonstrated professional experience with digital imaging/editing technology,
video camcorders, scanners, graphic design, and word processing. Familiar
with typesetter, darkroom and standard printshop equipment.
- Many years experience on the Internet including research, web page
design and publishing, bulletin board maintenance, chat room monitoring,
selling on auction sites, e-mail, and more.
- Wisdom attained only by someone in the field for more than 25 years.

Literary Services:
- Wrote and illustrated two country living how-to books for Williamson
Publishing Co., Charlotte, Vermont. Other works in progress.
- Contributor to many local, regional and national print magazines including
Country Journal, Mother Earth News, National Gardening, and Northwest
Living (short pieces and illustrated feature articles).
Consulting Services (technical/scientific
research, writing, editing):
- (1988 --> present) Spokane Allergy & Asthma Clinic, Dr. Michael
J. Kraemer, M.D., P.S. Proof, edit, and rewrite patient information and other
published materials, as needed.
- (Aug.-Oct. 2005) Terimore
Institute, Inc., wrote high school level science projects for website
sales.
On-line Services:
- (1995 --> 2001) Trained chat room & bulletin board monitor/operator
(as KathyCCC & Host_KathyAyn, independent contractor) for Talk City
and LiveWorld, Inc.

Design Services:

(from 40 to 8 hours per month); officially resigned Jan. 23, 2009.
- Supported the Library Director; communicated effectively with patrons; maintained

- Worked at circulation desk, shelves, clerical tasks, and research requests,
as needed.
- Computer troubleshooting and maintenance (four patron work stations and
one office computer, networked, with high-speed Internet access).

- Quantum physics, cell biology, alternative energy systems (had a small business,
Appropriate Alternatives, that featured solar power and alcohol fuel ... too
far ahead of my time on that one)
- Comparative religions, spirituality, shamanism, evolution of consciousness,
mind-body-spirit connections, ancient healing methods
